🌙 Moon Phase
Waxing Crescent Moon in Libra (19.4°), about 6.2% illuminated. Event taxonomy: no solar/lunar eclipse is exact today in the computed phase scan.
Pop-astro version: The mood wants clean proof after the headline burst: less story-chasing, more follow-through.
Market version: Use the Moon line as an execution audit: first reactions need VWAP/opening-range/funding confirmation before they become structure.
🧠 Gann Lesson
A respected seller is not a repayment guarantee.
In Chapter XXVI, Gann challenges the belief that buying a bond from a prominent banking house makes its value guaranteed. He separates the selling institution's reputation from the merits of the security. His discussion concerns an agency problem: the seller can earn a commission even if the purchaser later loses money. Turn that distinction into a document-reading exercise. An explicitly synthetic offering summary says that Firm A distributes bonds issued by Company B and receives a selling fee. The summary does not say that Firm A guarantees principal or interest. Those facts identify a distributor, an issuer, and compensation. They do not identify a guarantor. A careful reader then looks for a named obligor, an explicit guarantee if one exists, and its scope in the governing documents. Brand recognition cannot fill an absent contract term. Nor does evidence of a commission establish misconduct; it simply makes the incentive visible. The practical method is to keep three separate questions: who sells the instrument, who owes the payments, and who, if anyone, promises to cover a failure. Combining those roles is the exact shortcut the passage warns against.
Try it
Synthetic summary: Firm A distributes Company B bonds and earns a fee; no guarantee is described. Who is the issuer, and can you conclude that Firm A guarantees repayment?
Answer
Company B is the issuer. No repayment guarantee by Firm A can be concluded from distribution or fee information; the governing documents must state one.
Limits
This is a source-reading method, not legal advice or a claim about any current firm. Missing information in a summary does not prove that a guarantee is absent from the complete documents.

🔮 Astrology Lesson
A missing aspect is not Ptolemy's whole disjunction test.
Historical astrological doctrine: Ptolemy defines disjunct signs by several missing relationships, not by one empty aspect line. In Book I.16, he first excludes the familiarities called commanding and obeying, beholding, and equal power. He then adds the absence of opposition, trine, quartile, and sextile. The order matters when reading the text. A modern summary that says only "no major aspect" drops part of his definition. Build a classification sheet with separate columns for the relationships named in the passage. A pair cannot be certified as disjunct from a blank major-aspect column alone. The other familiarity columns must also be checked. This is a logical reading exercise, not a search for another small angle. For example, suppose a source worksheet reports no listed major aspect but does report a beholding relationship. Under the complete verbal definition, that worksheet does not establish disjunction. Conversely, a row that records none of the named familiarities satisfies the exclusion test. This teaches how to preserve an author's full conditions before turning a historical category into a chart label.
Try it
A worksheet says "no major aspect; beholding relationship present." Does it satisfy the full definition in I.16? Name the decisive clause.
Answer
No. The beholding relationship violates the requirement that disjunct signs belong neither to the beholding nor equal-power class. A missing major aspect alone is insufficient.
Limits
This is textual classification within historical astrology. It does not validate the doctrine physically, identify a market regime, or predict a return.
