- Energy: WTI $97.88 (+0.67%). Treat OPEC/inventory/geopolitical headlines as context until WTI/Brent range expansion and next-session acceptance confirm.
- SpaceX/SPCX: SPCX $151.96 (-1.84%) from Nasdaq. Sequential scan found no fresh verified company/regulatory item strong enough to override the stale quote label; use next regular-session trade for confirmation.
- Dividend Leaders: STRC 12.20%, XOM 2.53%, JPM 1.90%, ABBV 2.62%, IBM 2.94%. Screen balances indicated yield, payout durability, liquidity, orderly price action, and macro relevance; selected names remain rate/sector-sensitive, not raw-yield traps.
- Crypto: BTC $80,573 (+4.83% 24h), ETH $2,565 (+3.62%), SOL $109.11 (+7.44%). Repair needs spot demand, ETF/liquidity support, and funding discipline.
- AI/risk: NVDA $219.41 (+0.03%); if AI lifts while equal-weight breadth lags, call it concentration, not broad risk-on.
- Sequential headline scan buckets: US equity funds post fourth weekly outflow on inflation worries, rate concerns; Wall Street drifts as bond yields rise and oil prices swing; Stocks and bonds rally post-Fed rate hike as Tr.... These are catalyst buckets only; price, yields, oil, breadth, and funding decide whether they matter.

Use aspects as timing lenses, not certainty claims. Price/liquidity decide.
🌙 Moon Phase
First Quarter Moon in Sagittarius (22.9°), about 47.6% illuminated. Event taxonomy: no solar/lunar eclipse is exact today in the computed phase scan.
Pop-astro version: The mood wants clean proof after the headline burst: less story-chasing, more follow-through.
Market version: Use the Moon line as an execution audit: first reactions need VWAP/opening-range/funding confirmation before they become structure.
🧠 Gann Lesson
A stop also counts how many attempts the account can survive.
In Gann's discussion of stop orders, the protective point is tied to capital as much as to direction. A trader with limited funds cannot treat each trade as an isolated opinion. The size of the stop and the number of units decide how many wrong attempts can be absorbed before the account loses its ability to participate. Use a simple risk budget before discussing the chart pattern. If capital is $5,000 and the planned loss per attempt is $250, then five consecutive losses remove $1,250 and leave $3,750. The same five wrong ideas with a $600 planned loss remove $3,000 and leave only $2,000. Both paths can start from the same entry signal, but the second path has fewer future attempts. The lesson is not that the market respects the stop price. Today's separate stop-fill lesson covers execution uncertainty. This card is about survivability: position size, stop distance, and account equity must be read together. A valid timing window still needs a loss budget small enough to let the next independent test exist.
Try it
Capital is $5,000. Planned loss per attempt is $250. After five consecutive stopped trades, how much capital remains and what percentage drawdown is that?
Answer
Five losses cost 5 × $250 = $1,250. Remaining capital is $5,000 - $1,250 = $3,750. Drawdown is $1,250 / $5,000 = 25%.
Limits
The example assumes every stop fills at the planned loss and ignores commissions, taxes, slippage, and changing position size. It measures capital survivability, not entry quality.

🔮 Astrology Lesson
A crescent does not shrink the planet's full disk.
Calculated astronomy: Horizons quantity 13 reports the equatorial angular width of the target's full disk as if it were fully illuminated and visible. It does not measure only the bright crescent. Thus a narrow crescent can still belong to a large apparent disk. Phase and angular size answer different questions. To separate them, draw a circle and shade most of it. The outer circle sets full-disk diameter; the unshaded fraction describes illumination. For a circular teaching model, apparent disk area is proportional to diameter squared. If the angular diameter falls from 40 to 20 arcseconds, its full apparent area becomes one quarter as large, not one half. This area calculation is geometry, not a brightness forecast. A useful observing record keeps angular diameter and illuminated fraction in separate columns. Neither column alone gives total received light, since reflective properties and viewing geometry also matter. Horizons can return an unavailable marker when a body's diameter is unknown. That is missing information, not a physically zero-sized object, and it must not be converted to zero in a spreadsheet.
Try it
An ideal circular target changes from 40 to 20 arcseconds in full-disk diameter. What is the new full-disk area divided by the old area? Does a crescent fraction alter that ratio?
Answer
(20/40)^2 = 0.25. The full-disk area is one quarter of its earlier value. Illumination changes the bright portion, not this full-disk area ratio.
Limits
The example assumes a circular disk. Oblateness and irregular shapes require care. No relation to price or future returns is asserted.
