Use this as a timing lens and review queue only; price action has the final vote.
- Tight hard-aspect scan: Moon square Mercury (orb 0.8°, separating); Venus square Pluto (orb 2.4°, separating); Moon square Saturn (orb 2.5°, separating); Mercury opposition Saturn (orb 3.3°, separating)
- Secondary timing links: Neptune sextile Pluto (orb 0.1°, separating); Moon square Mercury (orb 0.8°, separating); Mercury sextile Jupiter (orb 2.0°, applying); Venus square Pluto (orb 2.4°, separating); Uranus trine Pluto (orb 2.4°, separating); Moon square Saturn (orb 2.5°, separating). Treat these as inspection windows, not certainty claims.
- Retrograde check: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. Read retrogrades as review/back-test cycles for existing stories, not automatic reversal calls.
Use aspects as timing lenses, not certainty claims. Price/liquidity decide.
🌙 Moon Phase
First Quarter Moon in Capricorn (14.9°), about 65.0% illuminated. Event taxonomy: no solar/lunar eclipse is exact today in the computed phase scan.
Pop-astro version: The mood wants clean proof after the headline burst: less story-chasing, more follow-through.
Market version: Use the Moon line as an execution audit: first reactions need VWAP/opening-range/funding confirmation before they become structure.
🧠 Gann Lesson
The after-close record can be cleaner than the live ticker.
Gann argues that standing over the ticker is often the wrong way to read the tape. The reason is practical. Live quotations arrive with gossip, floor color, news-ticker fragments, and the pressure to react before the trader has classified the move. His alternative is to read the tape as a record of prices. After the close, the high, low, close, range, and volume can be compared without the performance pressure of every tick. For a daily market brief, this becomes a discipline: separate current live markets from instruments that only have a completed prior-session print, then label the latter honestly. A stock that closed strong yesterday is not the same thing as a live futures confirmation this morning. The after-close record is valuable because it preserves the day's evidence, not because it predicts tomorrow by itself. Review where the close sits inside the range, whether volume expanded, and whether the move aligns with group or index context. Then wait for the next live session to confirm or reject the record.
Try it
A stock prints a high of 101.20, low of 96.80, and close of 100.70. What was the range, and where did the close sit as a percentage of that range from low to high?
Answer
The range was 101.20 - 96.80 = 4.40 points. The close was 100.70 - 96.80 = 3.90 points above the low, or 3.90 / 4.40 = 88.6% of the range.
Limits
A strong close is still a prior-session fact. Overnight news, illiquidity, and futures divergence can invalidate the read before the next cash open.

🔮 Astrology Lesson
Planet gender labels are conditional phase and horizon tags.
In Tetrabiblos I.6, Ptolemy gives inherited masculine and feminine planet assignments, then immediately adds conditions that can change the label. Stars become masculine when they are morning stars and precede the Sun, feminine when they are evening stars and follow it. He also adds a horizon rule: positions from the orient to midheaven, and from the occident to lower midheaven, have a masculine cast; the opposite quadrants have a feminine cast. The market lesson is a metadata lesson. Do not copy a planet label into a brief as though it were a permanent directional force. First record the observation frame: morning or evening, above or below the local horizon, and which quadrant rule is being used. Then translate cautiously. If two conditions agree, the label may be cleaner; if they conflict, mark the condition mixed and lower confidence. This prevents a traditional vocabulary word from becoming a hidden forecast. The label organizes a timing note, while price, volume, rates, and liquidity decide whether the market cared.
Try it
A planet is a morning star that precedes the Sun and is in the orient-to-midheaven quadrant. Count the two Ptolemaic conditions and classify the label under this rule.
Answer
There are two supporting conditions: morning star before the Sun, and orient-to-midheaven quadrant. Under the cited rule both point masculine, so the label is masculine for that observation frame.
Limits
This is historical astrological taxonomy, not finance evidence. The classification also depends on location, timestamp, horizon model, and the chosen translation of the quadrant rule.
