- Energy: WTI $93.08 (-3.12%). Treat OPEC/inventory/geopolitical headlines as context until WTI/Brent range expansion and next-session acceptance confirm.
- SpaceX/SPCX: SPCX $153.84 (+0.74%) from Nasdaq. Sequential scan found no fresh verified company/regulatory item strong enough to override the stale quote label; use next regular-session trade for confirmation.
- Dividend Leaders (latest 2026-09-18 equity prints): STRC 12.18%, XOM 2.52%, JPM 1.89%, ABBV 2.62%, IBM 2.95%. Screen balances indicated yield, payout durability, liquidity, orderly price action, and macro relevance; selected names remain rate/sector-sensitive, not raw-yield traps.
- Crypto: BTC $84,481 (+5.18% 24h), ETH $2,718 (+5.66%), SOL $116.07 (+7.35%). Repair needs spot demand, ETF/liquidity support, and funding discipline.
- AI/risk: NVDA (latest 2026-09-18 print) $222.27 (+1.34%); if AI lifts while equal-weight breadth lags, call it concentration, not broad risk-on.

Use this as a timing lens and review queue only; price action has the final vote.
- Tight hard-aspect scan: Moon opposition Mars (orb 0.9°, separating); Venus square Pluto (orb 2.8°, separating)
- Secondary timing links: Neptune sextile Pluto (orb 0.1°, separating); Mercury sextile Jupiter (orb 0.6°, separating); Moon opposition Mars (orb 0.9°, separating); Sun trine Moon (orb 1.6°, separating); Uranus trine Pluto (orb 2.4°, separating); Venus square Pluto (orb 2.8°, separating). Treat these as inspection windows, not certainty claims.
- Retrograde check: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. Read retrogrades as review/back-test cycles for existing stories, not automatic reversal calls.
Use aspects as timing lenses, not certainty claims. Price/liquidity decide.
🌙 Moon Phase
Waxing Gibbous Moon in Capricorn (26.9°), about 73.8% illuminated. Event taxonomy: no solar/lunar eclipse is exact today in the computed phase scan.
Pop-astro version: The mood wants clean proof after the headline burst: less story-chasing, more follow-through.
Market version: Use the Moon line as an execution audit: first reactions need VWAP/opening-range/funding confirmation before they become structure.
🧠 Gann Lesson
When the author could not measure volume directly.
In his grain discussion Gann admits that he has no way to know the exact daily amount of wheat or corn traded. He therefore uses the rapidity and repetition of price fluctuations to infer activity, contrasting repeated trips through a range with a single one-way move across it. This is an explicit measurement limitation in a 1923 text, not a timeless claim that grain volume cannot be measured. It changes how you read the rule. The author substitutes a price-path observation for a quantity he cannot observe, and a proxy is not the underlying quantity. Repeated price movement does not tell you how many contracts changed hands. The modern version of the lesson is to ask what fields your dataset actually contains. With only daily highs and lows, even the path proxy is unavailable, because two very different intraday paths can produce identical daily bars. With intraday prices, count movement separately from any reported contract volume and never relabel the first as the second. Knowing what a historical author could not see is part of knowing what his rules can support.
Try it
Two invented sessions both have open 100, high 102, low 100, close 102. Path A is 100, 102. Path B is 100, 102, 100, 102, 100, 102. Sum the absolute movement between listed observations. Can you compute traded contract volume from either?
Answer
A travels 2 price units. B travels 10. Their OHLC values match, but the listed paths differ. Neither path gives contract volume, and an OHLC-only dataset cannot tell the two apart.
Limits
The unavailability statement belongs to the 1923 text, not to present market data. The proxy is not validated here against actual traded volume. The illustrated paths omit any unlisted movement and are not market data.

The sourced hourly close path moved 2.21 dollars against a 2.08 dollar high-low range, so path movement was 1.06x the range; neither value is contract volume. WTI crude futures hourly closes (Yahoo Finance CL=F), As of 2026-09-21T10:56:47Z: sum(abs(hourly close change)) / (session high - session low) = 1.0625 x session range (inputs: hourly_close_path_movement_usd=2.21, session_high_usd=94.78, session_low_usd=92.7, session_range_usd=2.08). 🔮 Astrology Lesson
The same Jupiter, the same frame, two correct positions.
A coordinate frame is not the only choice inside an ephemeris. JPL Horizons separates geometric, astrometric, and apparent positions. Geometric coordinates describe an instantaneous position. Astrometric coordinates account for light travel time. Apparent coordinates add the observer's motion, called stellar aberration, and the bending of light by gravity. Here is a real comparison. For Jupiter at 00:00 UTC on 9 September 2026, an Earth-center query returns astrometric ICRF right ascension 137.61691 degrees and declination 16.85929 degrees. The airless apparent values are 137.61210 and 16.86067. Same target, same epoch, same center, same inertial frame. Subtract: right ascension shifts by minus 17.316 arcseconds and declination by plus 4.968, and a spherical separation calculation gives about 17.300 arcseconds between the two directions. The same output reports a one-way light time of about 51.05 minutes, and that light time is already included in both coordinate pairs. The 17-arcsecond gap is not where Jupiter is now versus 51 minutes ago. For anyone comparing two astrology programs near a very tight contact, this is how they can disagree without either engine being broken.
Try it
Open the linked Horizons query and find the first row between the SOE and EOE markers. Subtract apparent minus astrometric right ascension and declination, convert degrees to arcseconds, and compute the sky separation with the spherical formula 2 asin(sqrt(sin^2(delta_dec/2) + cos(dec1) cos(dec2) sin^2(delta_ra/2))). Explain why subtracting light time from only one pair would double count.
Answer
Right ascension: minus 17.316 arcseconds. Declination: plus 4.968 arcseconds. Sky separation: about 17.30 arcseconds. Both pairs already include light time; only the apparent pair adds gravitational deflection and stellar aberration.
Limits
This is astronomy, not a measured market response. The example uses right ascension and declination, not zodiac longitude. Do not call the astrometric column geometric or attribute the difference to light time alone.

Horizons puts apparent Jupiter -15.26 arcseconds in RA and 4.54 arcseconds in declination from the astrometric direction, a 15.35-arcsecond sky separation; the listed one-way light time is already included in both coordinate pairs.
