- Tight hard-aspect scan: Moon square Venus (orb 2.7°, separating); Sun opposition Neptune (orb 3.6°, applying)
- Secondary timing links: Neptune sextile Pluto (orb 0.1°, separating); Mercury sextile Jupiter (orb 0.7°, separating); Uranus trine Pluto (orb 2.4°, separating); Moon square Venus (orb 2.7°, separating); Sun opposition Neptune (orb 3.6°, applying). Treat these as inspection windows, not certainty claims.
- Retrograde check: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. Read retrogrades as review/back-test cycles for existing stories, not automatic reversal calls.
Use aspects as timing lenses, not certainty claims. Price/liquidity decide.
🌙 Moon Phase
Waxing Gibbous Moon in Aquarius (9.0°), about 81.9% illuminated. Event taxonomy: no solar/lunar eclipse is exact today in the computed phase scan.
Pop-astro version: The mood wants clean proof after the headline burst: less story-chasing, more follow-through.
Market version: Use the Moon line as an execution audit: first reactions need VWAP/opening-range/funding confirmation before they become structure.
🧠 Gann Lesson
A quick reversal is not automatically the main trend turning.
In the chapter on how to read the stock tape, Gann separates the fact that the tape shows the trend from the difficulty of knowing which trend has changed. He writes that minor changes and quick reversals can make the average reader unsure whether the big trend has turned or whether the move will last only hours, days, or weeks before the main trend resumes. That is a practical warning against relabeling the whole map after one dramatic bar. Build a two-column audit. Column one records the interruption: the reversal bar, gap, liquidation wick, or funding spike. Column two records evidence of a main-trend change: acceptance beyond the prior swing boundary, time spent on the new side, breadth or volume support, and a failed retest by the old trend. If column one is full and column two is empty, the reversal is an interruption, not a verdict. If both columns fill, the desk can graduate the event from noise to possible trend change. The value is not in predicting which reversal matters; it is in refusing to promote every interruption before the evidence matures.
Try it
Mark a chart with one sharp reversal bar. List two facts in the interruption column and two facts that would be required in the main-trend-change column. Which column is allowed to change the larger trend label?
Answer
Only the main-trend-change column can change the larger label. The reversal bar, gap, or wick can trigger review, but acceptance, time, breadth or volume support, and a failed old-trend retest are the evidence that promotes the event.
Limits
The filter may miss the first bar of a real reversal. It is a classification discipline, not a promise that waiting for confirmation improves every entry or exit.

🔮 Astrology Lesson
Planetary houses start from luminary symmetry, not sector stories.
Ptolemy's house rulership passage begins with the luminaries, not with modern market sectors. Cancer and Leo are described as the most northern signs and therefore closest to the zenith's heat and warmth. They are assigned to the Moon and Sun, then the zodiac is split into a lunar semicircle and a solar semicircle so each of the five planets can receive paired signs that bear relation to the luminaries. This matters when a market note uses rulership language. A house assignment is not a claim that a planet owns a company sector. It is a coordinate convention built from symmetry around the lights and from ancient physical qualities such as heat, cold, dryness, and moisture. Before translating it into a market proxy, name the rule: luminary anchor, paired sign, and reason for the pairing. Only after that can a desk ask whether the proxy should be rates, defensive sectors, energy, gold, or liquidity. Without the rule, rulership language becomes a decorative label that hides its assumptions.
Try it
If Leo is assigned to the Sun and Cancer to the Moon, how many luminary anchor signs start the scheme, and what is the next methodological question before using a market proxy?
Answer
There are two luminary anchor signs. The next question is which paired-sign or semicircle rule assigns the planet, before choosing any rates, sector, or liquidity proxy.
Limits
The passage explains an ancient dignity scheme. It does not prove that zodiac rulerships forecast sector returns, and different traditions can assign or weight dignities differently.
