🌙 Moon Phase
New Moon in Scorpio (10.4°), about 3.4% illuminated. Event taxonomy: no solar/lunar eclipse is exact today in the computed phase scan.
Pop-astro version: The mood wants clean proof after the headline burst: less story-chasing, more follow-through.
Market version: Use the Moon line as an execution audit: first reactions need VWAP/opening-range/funding confirmation before they become structure.
🧠 Gann Lesson
Heavy trading with little price progress is a different observation from low volume.
Gann's chapter on charts describes a stock trading 200,000 shares for a one-point gain, then another 200,000 shares without further gain. His narrow observable claim is useful: buyers can obtain stock without having to bid the quoted price higher. The amount traded and the resulting displacement are different measurements. A modern worksheet can put signed close-to-close change beside share volume. For a single stock on a consistent price basis, divide the change by volume in millions of shares. This is an editorial summary of observed progress, not an estimate of causal price impact. Two million shares accompanying a $2 rise gives $1 of net progress per million shares. Four million shares accompanying only a $0.50 rise gives $0.125. The second session has more trading but less measured progress. It need not identify a distributor, predict a decline, or mean each share moved the price by that amount. The intraday path and orders on both sides remain unobserved in this summary. Keep those limits visible instead of translating every busy, flat session into a story about hidden sellers.
Try it
Synthetic sessions in the same stock: A rises $2 on 2 million shares; B rises $0.50 on 4 million shares. Compute net progress per million shares and the B-to-A ratio.
Answer
A: 2/2 = $1 per million shares. B: 0.50/4 = $0.125 per million shares. B/A = 0.125, or one eighth. Volume doubled while this measure of net progress fell.
Limits
This ratio depends on price units, split treatment, and sample interval. It is not execution slippage, a market-impact coefficient, or proof of accumulation or distribution. Do not compare raw ratios across unrelated stocks.

🔮 Astrology Lesson
Sidereal time tells you which right ascension is on the meridian.
Sidereal time tracks Earth's orientation relative to the celestial reference direction. USNO defines it as the hour angle of the vernal equinox. Local apparent sidereal time therefore identifies the apparent right ascension currently on the local meridian. It is not the number shown on an ordinary civil clock. For a body with apparent right ascension, subtract that right ascension from local apparent sidereal time to obtain its hour angle. Use matching apparent coordinates and wrap the answer into a declared interval, such as minus 12 to plus 12 hours. In the west-positive convention, a positive value places the body west of the meridian. If local apparent sidereal time is 10h20m and a body's apparent right ascension is 9h50m, the hour angle is plus 30 minutes, or 7.5 degrees. It is west of the meridian. This does not alone tell you its altitude; that also depends on declination and observer latitude. The calculation gives a local rotational coordinate without inventing a horizon height.
Try it
Compute hour angle for the supplied 10h20m and 9h50m readings, in hours and degrees. Is that enough to calculate altitude?
Answer
The hour angle is +0.5 hour, or +7.5 degrees, west of the meridian. Altitude also requires declination and observer latitude.
Limits
This is a coordinate relation, not a claim that meridian passage moves prices. Mean sidereal time must not be combined silently with apparent right ascension.
