🪐 Planetary Aspects
| Timing window | Exact/nearest UTC | Orb | Score | Inspection window |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mercury square Mars | 2026-10-30T17:20:07Z | 2.91° applying | 0.03 | 2026-10-29–2026-10-31 |
Use this as a timing lens and review queue only; price action has the final vote.
- Tight hard-aspect scan: Moon conjunction Uranus (orb 1.5°, separating); Sun square Pluto (orb 1.9°, separating); Mercury square Mars (orb 2.9°, applying)
- Secondary timing links: Neptune sextile Pluto (orb 0.9°, separating); Moon conjunction Uranus (orb 1.5°, separating); Uranus trine Pluto (orb 1.7°, applying); Sun square Pluto (orb 1.9°, separating); Mercury square Mars (orb 2.9°, applying). Treat these as inspection windows, not certainty claims.
- Retrograde check: Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune. Read retrogrades as review/back-test cycles for existing stories, not automatic reversal calls.
Use aspects as timing lenses, not certainty claims. Price/liquidity decide.
🌙 Moon Phase
Waning Gibbous Moon in Gemini (6.3°), about 92.7% illuminated.
Pop-astro version: The mood wants clean proof after the headline burst: less story-chasing, more follow-through.
Market version: Use the Moon line as an execution audit: first reactions need VWAP/opening-range/funding confirmation before they become structure.
🧠 Gann Lesson
An event-day rank tests a different question than the average return.
A Gann-style date is a hypothesis about when to inspect returns, not evidence that the returns must rise. The usual average abnormal return can be moved by one extreme observation. MacKinlay's discussion of Corrado's rank test offers a second lens: for each security, order its abnormal returns across a fixed event window, then note the rank occupied by the event-day return. Under the no-effect hypothesis the expected event-day rank is the midpoint, (L₂ + 1)/2, for a window containing L₂ observations. One security's top rank is an observation, not a population result. The test aggregates deviations from that midpoint across securities and scales by their rank variability; it does not simply count winners. For a pre-registered seasonal checkpoint, freeze the proxy, normal-return model, event-window length, and event date before inspecting bars. A ranked event day can reveal whether an unusually large move survives a check that is less tied to a parametric return distribution. Compare it with a conventional abnormal-return test instead of replacing one favored statistic with another after seeing the chart. The method does not turn Gann's calendar into a causal mechanism, and assets sharing the same macro shock are not independent confirmations.
Try it
In a hypothetical five-observation event window, two independent proxies have event-day abnormal-return ranks 5 and 4. What is the null midpoint rank, the mean event rank, and their difference? Is that difference by itself a significance test?
Answer
The midpoint is (5 + 1)/2 = 3. The mean rank is (5 + 4)/2 = 4.5, so the excess is 4.5 - 3 = 1.5 ranks. No: two illustrative ranks do not supply the rank-variability scaling or a valid significance assessment.
Limits
A rank is not an abnormal-return magnitude and one or two high ranks do not prove a seasonal response. The complete test needs a fixed window, defined normal-return model, sufficient independent events and its sampling variance. Shared-date market shocks undermine naive independence.

🔮 Astrology Lesson
True anomaly counts from periapse, not from a zodiac sign.
Horizons observer-table quantity 41 gives apparent true anomaly: the angle in Mars's instantaneous orbit plane from the periapse direction to Mars, increasing with orbital motion. Periapse is an orbital-distance reference, not Aries and not the Sun's apparent zodiac longitude. Horizons computes the target position at the earlier moment when the light later received by the observer left it. State the observer and print time when using the output. A value of 357 degrees followed by 2 degrees has moved forward five degrees through the 360-degree seam. Subtracting naively would report negative 355 degrees, a false reversal. The two-day sequence therefore needs an unwrapped difference, although neither number says what Bitcoin should do. To test a timed market comparison, pair each UTC ephemeris epoch with a completed BTC-USD daily candle close at that exact boundary. Store the ephemeris method, close timestamp, both values, and a predeclared event definition. A near-zero anomaly can mark orbital geometry; it is not a price signal.
Try it
Synthetic Mars true-anomaly samples are 357 degrees and 2 degrees one day apart. Find the forward angular change across zero.
Answer
Use (2 - 357 + 360) mod 360 = 5 degrees of forward change, not negative 355 degrees. These are synthetic values, not 2026 Horizons readings.
Limits
True anomaly is an orbital-angle measurement. Horizons quantity 41 uses a light-time-shifted target position; it cannot by itself establish a planetary aspect, a near-term market edge, or a price response.

JPL Horizons quantity 41 for geocentric Mars at the Oct 27 and 28 00:00 UTC boundaries is 121.9039° then 122.3827°, a forward change of 0.4788°. Coinbase BTC daily closes aligned at those same endpoints are $80,008.79 and $80,799.51 (+0.988%). Put each UTC boundary with its BTC close on the same chart.
